Customer & Employee Safety

With the inherent risks and dangers present in distilled spirits plants and facilities resulting from hazardous materials and ongoing mechanical operations, nothing is more paramount than ensuring the health and safety of your employees and customers. This course covers the basics of customer and employee safety as it relates to operating a distillery and public spaces for customers. You will learn about the human safety considerations and specific risks that individuals (employees and customers) create for a business, as well as safety risk identification and mitigation strategies.

1. Understand the types of safety risks employees and customers create related to specific areas of your facilities
2. Identify the specific safety concerns present when engaging with customers and employees and how to prioritize resources for addressing those areas of risk
3. Analyze the risk areas in your facility and create plans to ensure the safety of your employees and customers
