Slips, trips, and falls occur more often than we realize, and their consequences can be severe. This course provides an overview of steps DSP managers can take to improve facility design for walking and working surfaces and reduce slip, trip, and fall hazards for employees, customers, and contractors.

1. Identify and apply hazard prevention and mitigation using the hierarchy of control
2. Develop a floor-maintenance policy and wet-floor protocol
3. Create protocols for property maintenance, accessible design and stairs, handrails, and lighting
